70MHz Transverter
After the success of the 50MHz Transverter a 70MHz version was soon under construction. Different local oscillator frequency etc but in most respects the same as the 6 metre version.
A very nice band and in my early days on Four there was a reasonable activity level but more countries have access now.
I'm sorry but I do not have any detailed schematics for this project. It is presented here only as an example of the type of construction that I enjoy.
It does seem to be of interest to many amateurs especially those in countries that are new to Four. I'm sorry it's all a bit vague but the principle is outlined below.
